DVS Funding

Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties (DVS/CP) is funded by a variety of sources. Support comes in three types: grants, in-kind donations, and monetary donations. We are fortunate to be supported by various community organizations, churches, schools, groups, and individuals. DVS/CP continues to receive funding from the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV), The United Way of Carlisle, The United Way of the Capital Region, and The United Way of Shippensburg, STOP (Stop Violence Against Women) Grant, Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), and the Stewart Foundation. Our staff pursues on-going grant opportunities for shelter operations, community education, outreach programs and trainings.

The DVS/CP Board also sponsors several annual fundraising activities: Mardi Gras Celebration, Randi's Race: A 5K Run/Walk for Hope and Courage, Annual Fund Drive and Reindeer Food.
