Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties (DVSCP) is teaming up with Bosler Memorial Library to put on a free educational presentation for anyone wishing to learn more about domestic and dating violence. The presentation is being led by DVSCP’s Public Education Coordinator Emily Ott and will review what domestic and dating violence is, what it looks like, and will help attendees understand why people stay in abusive situations.

When: Wednesday, November 6, at 5:00 p.m.

Where: Bosler Library located at 158 W High Street in Carlisle.

Why:  According to the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s last Fatality Report, 122 people in Pennsylvania were killed in 2018 as a result of domestic violence.  Last year, DVSCP served over 1,200 victims of domestic violence in Cumberland and Perry Counties. If you thought this wasn’t happening in your neighborhood, reconsider and attend this event to find out more. No registration required.
