DVSCP Support Groups

Trauma Support Group — Lead by Ashten Trimble, MFT LPC CCTP.   This group is designed for clients who are ready to start their healing process.  Ashten is able to skillfully educate them by implementing activities related to gaslighting, grounding, and the cycle of abuse.  The group meets every other Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in Carlisle.

Adult Support Group (Cumberland County) — This group is designed for adult survivors of domestic/interpersonal violence and focuses on topics such as empowerment, self-esteem, and boundaries.  The group meets Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Carlisle.

Adult Support Group (Perry County) — This group is designed for adult survivors of domestic/interpersonal violence and focuses on topics such as empowerment, self-esteem, and boundaries.  The group meets Thursdays from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in New Bloomfield.

Monthly Youth Support Group — This group is designed for children ages 6 to 13 who have experienced or witnessed domestic/interpersonal violence.  The group meets in Carlisle the first Tuesday of every month from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m.  Dinner is provided.  The group does fun activities while receiving education on a variety of topics and life skills, including empowerment, self-esteem, and coping mechanisms.

Parent Support Group — This group is designed for parents who continue to co-parent with an abuser, and focuses on addressing the challenges that come with this difficult situation. Facilitators also help participants to problem solve and provide healthy alternatives and parenting techniques. The group meets in Carlisle the first Tuesday of every month from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. (held the same time as the Youth Support Group).  Dinner is provided.

Virtual Support Group — This group is designed for adult survivors of domestic/interpersonal violence and focuses on topics such as empowerment, self-esteem, and boundaries.  The group meets every other Tuesday via Zoom from 6:30 -7:30pm.  Zoom link will be sent out the day of the group.
